Hello and Welcome

I do not wish to to impose on you to know who I am, so I will not.

That is your choice, to know or not know. It is one of the most, if not the greatest gift in your lifetime. to choose. It has been stated that for every choice made and not made lies an infinite universe of possibilities that would arise from that single decision.  From where does this ability to decide and choose our destiny come from?

Free will.

Where does the term, and the ability of free will come from? Is it  granted for just being human? Is it shared by all  organisms sentient or not? It is a wonder. Perhaps we should delve deeper into the subject.

As a citizen as the United States of America, I granted by citizenship to free speech, allowing me to slander political figures, religions, and a plethora of other things if I choose to do so. Another human born into a country where this right is not granted, does not have the ability to do so. Now within standards, this is highly incorrect.
A human's mind will always be their own, free to think, free to speak, see and hear as it the human sees fit. No one, not a single human on this planet can change that. Other can influence, recommend, and guide another human. However no one can fully control another humans mind, even if that human is beaten, broken, raped, ravaged in both mind and body.

As I say that, then comes to realization that any human out of the 6.950.983.421 that inhibit this planet are capable of any action, at any given time. Take that in for a second, Any one of those humans have the ability to do, say, think, hear, see, touch, taste and know anything they please at any given point in their living days. So why don't they?

Here is an example. If I truly wanted to, I could go out and buy a rather expensive luxury vehicle, drive it into a building, ending both my and several other peoples lives. Another possibility is that if I wanted to, I could go to my bathroom, fill up the tub, plug the toaster into the outlet and drop into the bathtub while I was in it.
Why don't I? Because I do not feel like dying today, and I don't feel like other people have to die in a selfish gain of life loss.  But the choice is still there, the possibility is very real and is on the table at all times. The same trait is shared with every other human, they can truly do as they please at any given moment.
There are endless reasons why humans do not engage in that practice of limitless action. Morality, Ethics, Preservation, Capacity, Trauma, and many many other reasons.

The beauty and strength of humans will always be our truly unlimited potential to accomplish anything we wish. However, humans are not gods. We are imperfect, as per our nature, so the ability to freely do beyond ourselves is still hindered.

If you have read this far, thank you and forgive me for my rashness in taking away your decision to choose. My name is Joshua David Stephens, I am 22, and I pleased to meet you, fellow human.

I do hope you will choose to continue to listen to another humans thoughts, even if it be briefly.

Namaste, and may the heavens grant you with their blessings.
